I am a Promise

Every night, Aidric asks me to sing him the SAME songs over and over. There is even a specific order in which he requests them. For anyone who has heard me sing, yes, it is a miracle that there are actual requests. I am a Promise is the 4th song in the lineup every night, but I think it's his favorite. Last night, as I left his room, I stopped in the bathroom to clean things up and heard his little voice singing it word by word. He didn't miss a beat. I was shocked b/c I had no idea he knew all the words. I LOVE hearing him say "potentiality". Today, I tried to get him to do it on camera, but he kept mixing up the lines. So, I helped him out at the beginning and then let him go...

(I can't believe I am posting myself "singing" on the internet, but his little voice is just too cute not to share!)

Water fun

LOVE summer fun. We've been hanging at the beach every chance we get and splashing in the back yard the rest of the time!

(realizing this post is very "juliet heavy"...I really love this swimsuit =)










And a few days ago, I needed a picture of me for something...and had to go back to early MAY to find one. So although I looked horrible, when Juliet was being so silly and sweet, I put the camera in Chris's hand and forced him to take some pics.

Juliet swam in a full-size pool for the first time... and loooved it!! We spent the day before Father's Day at Grandma and Papa P's...



and it wouldn't be a true get together with Aunt Staci and Max if we didn't have a photo session..yes, i brought my dear nephew to a nearby field after his bedtime...



I think it was worth it..



The next day, we swam again over at Sarah and Richard's. I didn't get a good shot of her in this bathing suit, so I'm included this one...b/c seriously. HOW CUTE IS IT????

Disneyland!!!

My parents, niece and brother are here for a great visit. I knew if I attempted to really edit these, I'd NEVER blog them, so here are they are....

We had a fantastic day...huge hits were the dumbo ride, the flying orbitor (or something like that), It's a Small World and their Mickey/Minnie Mouse dolls they picked out at the gift shop. Juliet hasn't stopped hugging her "mee-mow" since we got home. We're looking forward to more trips in our future...
