Someone sent me this you-tube video and it cracked me up! I couldn't figure out how to get just the one of the baby, but that's the one to watch. (on the right of the screen) There is no way you can't laugh out loud with him!
Also, I created a video montage of AJ's first three months. (almost!) Make sure your sound is turned on and take a look.

Strong Boy!
Aidric usually spends about 20-30 minutes a day on his tummy, working out those abs =) He's able to lift his head up pretty steady while he looks around. He's also getting better about letting me do our Mommy/Baby Yoga video. (A couple of weeks ago, he just cried the whole time!) The second picture of him on his back is the way I found him after I put him on his tummy and then turned around to get the camera! I don't think he officially "rolled" though- when I tried it re-enact it, I discovered that he actually just "falls" down off his forearms and the force rolls him over =)
I weighed him on our home scale the other day and he is up to 12 1/2 pounds! His little cheeks are so chubby!
For those of you in Indiana, we are SO excited to come home and see you all next week! We'll be home August 29-September 4.
(Chris finished the tower bookshelf this weekend, so I put in a couple more nursery pics now that it is finished!)

Mr. Smiley
He is full of smiles for us these days! And he loves sitting in his little chair. I think he likes that he is upright and can look around more. Maybe we need to buy him his own shades though, because Chris's are definitely a bit big on him!
The last picture shows how we swaddle him up like a little burrito in the evenings when he is tired but doesn't want to go to sleep. It works every time!

Nursery Pics
Since we are all the way out here in Texas, many of you will probably not see AJ's room, so I thought I'd put a few pictures up here. It's not quite finished- Chris is going to make a tower bookshelf for the corner. (Where the basket of toys are now). Once I know exactly where the dresser is, I'm going to hang up four of the picture frames shown here too.
The last picture is AJ's first time in his bebe pod. He seemed to like sitting in it. You'll notice all of the toys surrounding him.....yet, he is staring at the ceiling fan- his favorite "toy" =) Oh, and in case you can't see it clearly, his onesie says, "Mommy is my first love" =)

Tummy time and cowboy boots
Bonnie's visit with us was wonderful- we went shopping (of course), went to the pool, walked around the neighborhood, etc. The pool is a community pool that is a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from our house. Bonnie also bought the little Texan his first cowboy boots, shirt and cords. He'll be modeling the outfit in a few months, but here's a sneak preview of the boots.
We do tummy time almost every day and apparently it was just too much for him yesterday b/c he zonked out on his boppy! He did a great job with tummy time on Chris's legs though- he lifts his chest so high and looks around. He looks like a little turtle sticking its head out of its shell.
And the big news is that he slept for 6 hours straight last night! I know it may have been a fluke and may not repeat itself, but I am certainly hoping we can make a habit of it!
